AGAMA YOGA - OTTAWA

Maureen Salkeld leads the Agama Yoga – Ottawa center teachings. She will resume teaching in the Ottawa area in the beginning of May 2009, following months of immersion in her own Yoga practice and education at the Agama headquarters in Thailand throughout the Canadian winter.

Classes will be held at the Centre Art de la Paix (www.artdelapaix.ca – click on "Events" and "Calendar"), a lovely Yoga and spiritual education center right in the heart of Wakefield. Chakra- and energy-focused Yoga will be taught by Maureen, intended both for beginners and for those more advanced. Additionally, there will be lectures and study on the yamas and niyamas, the fundamental moral and ethical guidelines for all Yoga practice, as well as a course in meditation. More details, times, and dates will be posted shortly.

A Hridaya Retreat (Revelation of the Spiritual Heart) with Claudiu Trandafir will be held in Wakefield from 22-27 September, 2009.
