What is Love?

Many of us associate love with disappointment, pain, and fear. We often question our relationships, asking, “How much does he/she love me?” or “Do I perhaps love too much?” We’ve been influenced by song lyrics like “How deep is your love?” and “love is a sweet misery,” perpetuating a false image of love. The truth is, love that comes from the heart is not dependent on anyone or anything. Heartfelt love does not seek anything in return; it is enough and beautiful just to be in love. You cannot love too much because everything you need is already within you.
