Paramarthasara 1 - Basis of spiritual liberation

Kashmiri Shaivism is a pure, idealistic philosophical system of knowledge, that might be considered from this stand point closest to the German idealistic philosophy of Kant, Husserl and Heidegger than to classical yoga. Nevertheless, there are a few texts which were designed by Abhinavagupta in order to offer in the same time a clear spiritual vision upon the manifestation and the possibility of a practical, efficient approach in order to easily attain enlightenment and liberation even for those not versed in the hardcore tradition of Shaivism. Paramarthasara is one of those texts. It offers at the same time a clear description of the process of manifestation , starting with the gradual limitation of the eternal being, continuing with the description of the condition of the soul, his limitations and karmic conditionings, and a clear path, based upon the action of the spiritual practice and the Divine Grace, towards the supreme stage of regaining the autonomy and freedom of the Shiva consciousness.

By participating in this workshop you will be in the same time introduced in the high level Kashmiri Shaiva teachings and also you will be guided, based upon those teachings, in order to experience yourself the ultimate consciousness.

It is structured in three weeks workshop, each month a week.

In the first week we’ll study the structure of the manifestation starting from the Absolute and our relation to it. Also you’ll get the initiation into a bija of an aspect of Shiva which is taking us above Maya.

In the second week we’ll study the procedure of true enlightenment and I’ll offer the initiation into some direct keys to integrate us at the level of the pure tattvas.

In the third week we’ll study the condition of the jivanmukta and also the condition of the one who didn’t succeed to reach liberation, but still is a high level spirit and You’ll get the initiation into the mantra of the celestial realms.

The Paramarthasara workshop is a true blessing for any seeker, who is interested in a deep dive into the ocean of true spiritual knowledge. The journey through this beautiful text elevates the spirit and brings a deepening sense of understanding of the nature of the reality, from gross to subtle.
However, this would not be possible without the commentary and the invaluable guidance of Bodhananda, whose support is so essential to grasping the meanings and connections that otherwise lie hidden in the plain sight.
Moreover, the field of consciousness that opens up in his presence allows for deep meditative states and a flow of blessings coming along with the initiations into many special aspects of the Supreme. These are true and rare gems, that one should consider oneself lucky to receive in the span of many lifetimes of evolution.
That’s why I cannot recommend this workshop enough.
