Kundalini Yoga Program

In the yogic tradition, the fundamental life force is often referred to as Kundalini Shakti, the Shakti energy which is basically dormant in Muladhara Chakra. Kundalini Yoga aims to awaken Kundalini Shakti and rise her through the central channel, called Sushumna Nadi, to the Crown Chakra. As a Yogi you are aware of the fact, that the successful practice of Kundalini Yoga can dramatically change your life. Ultimately, a full awakening and complete rising of Kundalini leads to enlightenment, so God will.

This is an intense and delicate process and care needs to be taken to purify the body and subtle bodies of the yoga practitioner before entering strong kundalini practices. Therefore, in Agama Yoga students can apply to the Kundalini program after completion of Level 23. This is supposed to prepare the practitioner generally to be very healthy and also enjoy a very good physical fitness and overall a good yogic lifestyle. To ensure this, a questionnaire , and a personal interview for this program needs to be passed. 

Classes will be held 4 hours each, mostly eight times per month. The kundalini program takes 10 months to learn and practice together and a minimum 6 months of personal tapas are recommended, after that. A zoom attendance is possible in later months, however, a personal attendance at least during the first 5 weeks is mandatory. This is to ensure the high quality of the transmission in initiation which is imperative for the Kundalini techniques being very strong, too, both on Anamayakosha and Pranamayakosha. 

The course includes many practice hours together with a teacher. It also requires a high level of daily personal practice, which is contributing to your success.

Note 1: Kundalini courses, Advanced Teachings and Chakra Tapas cannot be attended simultaneously.

Note 2: Students of a previous curriculum are required, to also complete the yoga levels up to L23. This is because many advanced techniques eg. from the Advanced Teachings as well as the Chakra Tapas are introduced in the new Levels 14-23 already.

Course Requirements:

• Successful completion of L23
• Good condition of health and fitness
• Fill in Kundalini Application Form
• Personal Interview
• A participation in the Awakening of the Kundalini in February is recommended and will be possible for L23 students as the level will have a break at that time.

Admission and Application

In the new Agama curriculum, entrance into the Kundalini Program is possible only after successfully completing Level 23. If you are willing to join, please enter your data in this Kundalini Application form. Admission to the Kundalini Program is subject to the approval by the head teacher of the school.
